Firefox 3 compatible extension available

I have updated the download link to provide a version of the extension that is compatible with Firefox 3. It has been subject to limited testing, so some of you might encounter problems with it. As always, send feedback of any sort to us, we always love to hear from you.

In case you were one of the first people to download the new extension, you will have noticed that the username and password weren't being saved properly. Just uninstall the extension from Tools/Add-ons, and repeat the download process.

Working on Extension Modification, Please be Patient

I've started to work on modifying the extension so that it will work with Sprint's changes to its web site. Thanks for your patience.

First Update

I have managed to create basic support for Fair and Flexible plans in a new version of the extension. I've also created a Spanish language version.

It's wise to upgrade to this one, even if you don't have a Fair and Flexible plan, as the previous version will degrade Firefox's performance if the browser is left open for too long.

Unfortunately, you'll have to uninstall the previous version for this one to work. It doesn't automatically replace the one that you have. Sorry. To uninstall the previous version, go to Tools/Add Ons. You should see it in the list.

If you encounter problems (or Spanish errors), please report them to sprint.minutes.ticker@gmail.com.

Thanks to Ryan, Roy, and Andrew for help with testing!

Discoveries from the initial round of Beta testing

A few people have experienced difficulties using the extension with the Sprint Fair and Flexible plan. I would like to make the changes necessary for the extension to work with these plans.

Thanks to everyone who reported problems!

Beta Version of Firefox Extension

I have posted a beta version of a Firefox extension that monitors your Sprint wireless usage, and reports it in the browser status bar. It's similar to other existing Firefox extensions for Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and Cingular.

It's available here.
